ABOUT THE WEDDING

Ever since I was a little girl, I dreamed of getting married in a castle. I imagined tall stone walls, sweeping staircases, and a moment that felt like it had been lifted from the pages of a fairytale. That dream came true when Preethi and I said “I do” at Clearwell Castle, nestled in the romantic English countryside.

Our wedding was more than just a beautiful setting—it was a heartfelt celebration of our roots. With my Russian heritage and Preethi’s Sri Lankan background, we blended two vibrant cultures into one unforgettable day. From the traditional elements woven into our ceremony to the joyful mix of music, food, and fashion, every detail told our story.

Clearwell Castle gave us the perfect backdrop to honour our past and celebrate our future. It was everything I had ever imagined—majestic, emotional, and filled with love. Our families came together from different parts of the world, and for one magical day, time stood still.

This was not just a wedding. It was the beginning of our forever, in the most enchanting way possible.
